From Roadburn to Vesterbro – Our Friendship and Collaboration with Maureen Centen

If you’ve ever stepped into our shop, you know we’re obsessed with music, craftsmanship, and the kind of beauty that’s a little bit dark and a whole lot authentic. We first met Maureen at Roadburn Festival in Holland. Year after year, we’d spot her at the festival site, surrounded by her raw yet classy jewelry, each piece radiating the same passion and edge that drew us to the music. There was something magnetic about her work - handcrafted, sustainable, and inspired by the rough beauty of nature and the occult. We were hooked.

When we decided to open our own dark little store, Maureen was one of the very first designers we reached out to. We wanted her to be part of our adventure, and luckily for us, she was game! Since then, our friendship has grown far beyond business. We’re not just collaborators, we’re close friends who hang out, share stories, and inspire each other, both in the shop and in our private lives. And that is actually often the way we work and how we choose the people we work together with in LÖVENDAHL.

Atelier Maureen Centen is based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, where Maureen crafts every piece by hand, using recycled precious metals and eco-friendly methods. Her jewelry is more than an accessory, it’s an extension of your body and character, designed to last a lifetime and beyond. We love that every piece carries traces of her craftsmanship, a visible reminder that it was made with care, passion, and respect for the planet.
